Dr. Chong graduated from University of Queensland and began his medical career at Redcliffe Hospital in Brisbane supporting various departments. He subsequently completed GP training in Toowoomba before moving back to Brisbane. He has special interests in skin cancer medicine and has completed additional post-graduate training in dermatological procedures.
He also has an interest in travel medicine, chronic disease, chronic pain and medicinal cannabis and medical marijuana .

He offers thorough exam of your skin with dermatoscope (magnifying lens). For any suspicious lesions, he takes biopsy samples for pathology testing. He can perform minor skin procedures such as grafts and flaps.
Chronic Disease Management
You can rely on Dr. Chong to establish a GP management plan with you for conditions such as heart failure, hypertension, rheumatoid conditions, asthma, COPD, diabetes etc. He will also provide relevant referrals for allied health services as needed.
